Field School

Blue Lake – Geography 391

The GEOG 391 is the required field school for all geography majors. It is offered yearly by the geography department that runs from late August to early September before the start of the Fall semester. Students stay at the Blue Lake Centre in B.C. for approximately 9-10 days in which they complete modules relating to both physical and human geography. This field school is a highlight for many geography and earth science undergraduates. Students make long-lasting friendships and gain useful hands-on field experience. Food, transportation, and accommodations are provided and included in the course fee.
