Exam Bank

Update: January 10, 2016

Success! Over the past little while we have been busy migrating our Exam Bank to a new system. It is now up and running ready for the Winter semester! If you are a current Palliser Club Member you should have gotten the Exam Bank Password in a email communication back in December.

Thank you for your patience!

Update: November 22, 2016

The Exam Bank is still causing issues for many. If you are attempting to access the Exam Bank and cannot get online, please email us and we will try and help out.

Again we apologize for the continued inconvenience.

Update: October 13, 2016

The Exam Bank webpage is currently only loading on University WiFi.

It is still unknown as to why access is not being granted to students on a different WiFi network. We apologize for any inconvenience.

The Palliser Club is experiencing technical difficulties with our online Exam Bank.

We apologize for any inconvenience during this busy midterm season. If you are in need of a practice exam, feel free to drop by during our office hours and view our collection of hardcopy exams.

February Updates!

Hello Palliser Club members!

February is upon us, and The Palliser Club has been busy planning events for this month!

Feb. 11 – Geography Craft Sale! We will be in ICT at the table across from Good Earth Cafe room 9-3 selling all your up-cycled geography-themed Valentine’s Day craft needs! We have picture frames, magnets, cards, bookmarks, posters, gift boxes, and journals! Please stop by and check it out! For more info, see our Facebook event.

Feb. 24 – The Friends of Kananaskis Speaker Series with Kevin Van Tighem! He’s speaking about the Heart Waters of Alberta, which will explore solutions for water-challenged regions, whose headwaters are among the most beautiful in the world. This talk will be in Earth Science 162 at 7 pm. Admission is by donation ($5 suggested donation). Our generous sponsor Sidewalk Citizen Bakery will be supplying treats once again, so stop by our table to grab something and say hello! More information can be found here.

Job Board – The Palliser Club job board is up and running! We are posting regularly for any GIS, human, physical and research opportunities that come our way. Head over to the job postings to see what’s waiting for you. As well, if you know of any jobs that should be up there, send them our way and we’ll post them pronto!

Geography Conference call for Volunteers – We’ve received an email from the department asking for volunteers for the Geography Department General Conference on March 4th. This is a great opportunity to get involved, meet new people and hear some great talks. Volunteer duties include the set up of chairs and tables, running the registration table, program distribution, ushering, tech support, and decorating the banquet hall. This event takes places from 8 am to 2 pm. If you are interested, please send us an email or stop by the office.

Lab hours – If you are looking for some extra lab hours to work on those assignments, please contact us. We are looking for volunteers to fill some Black Lab hours on Wednesday eve (5-8 pm) and Sunday afternoon (1-4 pm). There’s not much to it, just look after the key and treat the lab well.

We’re on Instagram – finally! Check us out right here.
We’re also on Snapchat –  @palliserclub

Map of the week – every week we are giving away a ‘map of the week’ which will be displayed on the bulletin board just outside our office. To enter to win, answer the skill testing question and submit your name and email before every Friday at noon!
