Scholarships


Palliser Club Scholarship

The Palliser Club is pleased to offer two $250 scholarships to two continuing members each school year. Application for the scholarship is completed within the Student Awards Application Centre by filling out and completing the Continuing Undergraduate Award Competition Application.


Jason Lang Scholarship

The Jason Lang Scholarship offered through Student Aid Alberta. The $1000 scholarship is available to continuing students full-time students who have earned minimum GPA of 3.20 in the previous academic school year. This award can be earned a lifetime total of 3 times. Application for the scholarship is completed within the Student Awards Application Centre.


International ESRI Young Scholars Award

In 2012 ESRI launched the International ESRI Young Scholars Award Program. It is designed to recognize undergraduate and graduate students who help advance the geospatial sciences. Recipients of the award receive an all expenses paid invitation to attend the ESRI Education GIS Conference and International User Conference in San Diego to showcase their work.

The award is available to any candidate studying GIS at a Canadian university or college subject to the terms and conditions listed below.

  • Applicants need to have used ESRI technology to complete a project or conduct interesting geospatial research.
  • Applicants must be enrolled full-time in and undergraduate or graduate program from a college or university.
  • The successful candidate will be asked to submit a poster to ESRI for display at the User Conference in San Diego.
  • An 800-1000 word summary paper explaining their project/research must also be submitted along with academic transcripts.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for obtaining the necessary visas for their visit (if applicable).
